For a moment, neither of us moved. Then, without a word, he turned and walked upstairs to his apartment. But something in that smile told me it wasn’t over. The Strange Sound Hours later, long after midnight, I couldn’t sleep. I sat clutching Mira’s notebook, rereading her frantic notes, when I heard it again  scrape… scrape… Not from my storage room this time. From above. Adrian’s apartment. The sound of something heavy being dragged across the floor. https://www.profitableratecpm.com/mnd2hhyp?key=1ca08a3d1a558fe0f51048c3968660fb The Hidden Door I couldn’t ignore it. The Three Words Part 1 😮: The Stranger Upstairs

Hello Guys, I am starting a new series, which is completely imaginary and will come in Parts. The series name is "The Three Words". So let's begin😉.

"The last text from Mira read only three words: Don’t trust him."

By the time I saw it, she was already gone.

Mira wasn’t the type to panic. She had this sixth sense about people, could sniff out a lie before the first syllable hit the air. We’d been roommates for three years, and nothing rattled her—until Adrian moved in upstairs.

The New Tenant

Adrian arrived a month ago. Tall. Impossibly polite. A smile that lingered a second too long. Always wearing gloves, even in 30°C heat.

Mira hated him instantly. “Something’s wrong with that man,” she whispered after their first meeting.

I laughed it off. She didn’t.

The Oddities Begin

It started small:

  • Footsteps in the hallway at 3 a.m., but no one there.

  • A metallic scent seeping through the stairwell.

  • Our door found unlocked—twice.

Mira began keeping a notebook. Dates. Times. Notes scribbled in quick, sharp handwriting. She wouldn’t tell me why.

The Disappearance

Last night, Mira told me she was “going to prove something.” She left at sunset. Hours passed. Then came her message:

Don’t trust him.

That was the last I heard from her.

The Search

In her room, her notebook was gone. But in her desk drawer, I found a crumpled receipt: duct tape, rope, and industrial cleaner. Adrian’s name was on it.

I went upstairs. His door was ajar. Inside:

  • A half-packed suitcase.

  • A camera pointing at our apartment window.

  • Mira’s silver bracelet on the coffee table.

The Knock

I rushed back to my apartment to call the police. But before I could, there was a knock.

Not from the hallway.
From inside my apartment.

The sound came from the storage room we never used.

I gripped the handle. Turned it slowly.

The Three Words – Part 2: The Room

Hello Guys, if you haven't read the first part then you can read it by clicking this link 👉👉 https://cinescope129.blogspot.com/2025/08/the-last-text-from-mira-read-only-three.html Now let's move to the next part guys 😉 “Some doors shouldn’t be opened. But this one… it was already waiting for me.” The knock came again. Three short taps, steady, deliberate. From inside the storage room. We never used it—it was a narrow, dusty space with a single overhead bulb that hadn’t worked in years. It only ever held a few boxes from the last tenant. Or at least, that’s what I thought. The Sound Inside I pressed my ear to the door. Silence. Then— scrape… scrape… like something being dragged slowly across the floor. “Mira?” I whispered. My voice cracked. No reply. I hesitated, phone in hand, ready to call the police. But something stopped me. If Mira was in there, she might not have time to wait for help. I twisted the handle. What I Saw The smell hit first stale air and so...
